ایف بی آر کی پریس ریلیز

​A US Embassy delegation led by Mr. Aaron Fishman, Commercial Counselor and representatives of the multi-national beverage companies visited FBR and met Mr. Tariq Mahmood Pasha, Special Assistant to the PM on Revenue, and Mr. Asim Ahmad Chairman FBR, today at Islamabad. 

 

 

Chairman FBR extended welcome to the visiting delegation and highlighted the areas of cooperation between the USA and Pakistan in terms of trade and business facilitation.

 

The delegation also discussed the new tax provisions on the beverage industries and the SAPM (Revenue) and Chairman FBR assured the representatives of the companies that their genuine concerns will be addressed on priority. SAPM also appreciated the US engagement with Pakistan in the economic, financial and revenue areas and vowed to further strengthen the ongoing cooperation.

 

 

The meeting was also attended by the Member Inland Revenue - Policy and in the end FBR team thanked the visiting delegation.

 

       

                                                                                         امریکی سفارت خانہ کے وفد کا ایف بی آر ہیڈ کوارٹرز کا دورہ

 

امریکی سفارت خانہ کے ایک وفد نے کمرشل کونسلر ایرون فش مین کی قیادت میں ملٹی نیشنل بیوریج کمپنیوں کے نمائندوں کے ہمراہ ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹر اسلام آباد کا آج دورہ کیا اور وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے ریونیو  طارق محمود پاشا اور چئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد سے ملاقات کی۔

 

چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے وفد کو خوش آمدید کہا اور تجارت اور کاروباری سہولتوں کے حوالے سے پاکستان اور امریکہ کے درمیان تعاون پر روشنی ڈالی۔

 

وفد نے مشروبات کی صنعتوں پر نئے ٹیکس کے حوالے سے بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ معاون خصوصی اور چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے کمپنیوں کے نمائندوں کو یقین دلایا کہ ان کے حقیقی تحفظات کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر دور کیا جائے گا۔ معاون خصوصی نے پاکستان کے ساتھ اقتصادی، مالیاتی اور محصولات کے شعبوں میں امریکہ کے ساتھ شراکت کو بھی سراہا اور دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان تعاون کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کے عزم کا اظہار کیا۔

 

اجلاس میں ممبر ان لینڈ ریونیو پالیسی نے بھی شرکت کی۔ آخر میں ایف بی آر ٹیم نے وفد کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
