Significant Facilitative Initiatives taken by FBR

In line with the vision of the Prime Minister and Special Assistant to PM on Revenue, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken significant initiatives to facilitate taxpayers by making compliance easier. FBR in collaboration with PRAL, has launched a single-page simplified Income Tax Return for SME manufacturers having turnover upto Rs. 50 million which can be availed by individuals and AOPs. This return is available on Iris portal and requires input of basic data relating to business activities conducted by eligible taxpayers during the period relevant to tax year 2020.

Likewise, FBR has upgraded Iris system with the help of PRAL for issuing SMS and e-mails whenever any notice is issued or any assignment is created by Tax officer. Previously, taxpayer would know about such notices/ intimations only after logging onto Iris portal. With the objective of improving compliance with a facilitative environment, after Iris upgrade, taxpayers and intermediaries will receive notifications of such communications through SMS and e-mails making compliance easier and smarter.

FBR has launched a system Maloomaat-TaxRay wherein taxpayers can access all information available with the FBR by logging through a secure mechanism. For further facilitation, this feature has been launched in mobile app, Tax Assan, so that taxpayers can easily access all such information. FBR believes in high levels of tax facilitation and constantly using innovative technology for creating a faceless organization.

ٹیکس گزاروں کی سہولت کے لئے ایف بی آر کے انقلابی اقدامات

وزیر اعظم پاکستان اور معاون خصوصی برائے ریونیو کے ویثرن کو عمل جامہ پہناتے ہوئے فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو نے ٹیکس گزاروں کی سہولت کے لئے انقلابی اقدامات کا آغاز کیا ہے۔ ان اقدامات کی بدولت ٹیکس گزاروں کو ٹیکس قوانین کی تعمیل میں آسانی میسر آئے گی۔ ایف بی آر نے پرال کے اشتراک سے چھوٹے اور درمیانے درجے کے مینوفیکچررز ، جن کا ٹرن اوور پانچ کروڑ تک ہے ، کی آسانی کے لئے ایک صفحہ پر مشتمل انکم ٹیکس گوشوارہ متعارف کیا ہے جس سے افراد اور ایسوسی ایشن آف پرسنز مستفید ہو سکتے ہیں۔ یہ گوشوارہ آئرس پورٹل پر دستیاب ہے۔ گوشوارہ میں ٹیکس سال 2020 کے لئے اہل ٹیکس گزار کاروباری سرگرمیوں سے متعلق ڈیٹا کا اندراج کریں گے۔

اسی طرح ایف بی آر نے پرال کے اشتراک سے آئرس نظام کو اپ گریڈ کیا ہے جس کے تحت ٹیکس افسر کی طرف سے جاری کردہ نوٹس کی اطلاع اب ٹیکس گزاروں کو ان کے ای میل ایڈریس اور ایس ایم ایس کے ذریعے بھی فراہم کی جائے گی۔ اس سے پہلے ٹیکس گزاروں کو آئرس پورٹل پر لاگ ان ہونے کے بعد نوٹسز کے جاری ہونے کا علم ہوتا تھا۔

ایف بی آر نے معلومات ٹیکس رے سسٹم متعارف کیا ہے جو کہ اب ٹیکس آسان ایپ پر بھی دستیاب ہے۔ اس محفوظ ایپ کے ذریعے ٹیکس گزار معلومات تک رسائی حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ ایف بی آر نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے کہ ٹیکنالوجی کے بہتر استعمال سے مزید سہولتی اقدامات کا سلسلہ جاری رہے گا تا کہ ٹیکس گزار کو ٹیکس قوانین کی تعمیل میں کوئی دشواری پیش نہ آئے۔
