Last date for filing of corporate IT returns extended till October 15

 Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for filing of corporate Income Tax returns/statements up to 15th October, 2010 in the wake of situation resulting from massive flash floods and other related matters.

Earlier, the FBR had extended the last date for filing of IT return for the tax year 2010 up to October 15, 2010 following representations from various business organizations and classes of taxpayers. The same deadline would also be applicable to the corporate Income Tax returns/statements, says an official statement issued Thursday.
