Five Officials of Directorate of I&I – Customs (Peshawar) Embrace Martyrdom
Today, on the 18th of April, 2024, at around 03:30 PM, five officials of the Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Customs (Peshawar) embraced martyrdom while performing an Intelligence based Operation (IBO) at Daraban Road, near village Sagguu, district Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan).
During the operation, the officials were ambushed by unknown assailants in a dastardly attack and fired upon with automatic weapons. As the Will of Allah would have it, all five officials embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. Despite all odds they remained committed to their mission, serving the nation with honor and distinction. Their courage in the face of adversity serves as a shining example of gallantry.
Names of the officials are:
1) Intelligence Officer Aslam Khan Shaheed
2) Havaldar Inayat Ullah Khan Shaheed
3) Havaldar Mr. Akbar Zaman Shaheed
4) Sepoy Iftikhar Alam Shaheed
5) Sepoy Mr. Shahab Ali Shaheed
Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation brings to record the valiant and selfless service rendered by the Shaheed officials to their motherland and the department. Their contribution in service of the country will be remembered by the rank and file of Pakistan Customs Service.

ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف انٹیلی جنس اینڈ انوسٹی گیشن کسٹمز پشاور کے پانچ اہلکار جمعرات کے روز ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان میں سگو گاؤں کے قریب درابن روڈ پر انٹیلی جنس بیسڈ آپریشن کرتے ہوئے نامعلوم افراد کی فائرنگ سے شہید ہوگئے۔ آپریشن کے دوران اہلکاروں پر نامعلوم افراد نے گھات لگا کر حملہ کیا اور خودکار ہتھیاروں سے فائرنگ کی جس کے نتیجے میں انٹیلی جنس آفیسر اسلم خان، حوالدار عنایت اللہ خان، حوالدار اکبر زمان، سپاہی افتخار عالم اور سپاہی شہاب علی اپنے فرائض سرانجام دیتے ہوئے شہید ہوگئے۔
تمام تر مشکلات کے باوجود وہ اپنے فرائض پورے کرنے اور قوم کی خدمت کے لئے سرگرم رہے۔خطرات کے باوجود اُن کی یہ قربانی بہادری اور دلیری کی ایک شاندار مثال ہے۔
ڈائریکٹوریٹ جنرل آف انٹیلی جنس اینڈ انوسٹی گیشن نے شہید ہونے والے اہلکاروں کی اپنی مادر وطن اور محکمہ کے لئے دی گئی بے لوث خدمات اور شجاعت کا اعتراف کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان کے لئے ان کی خدمات کو ہمیشہ یاد رکھا جائے گا۔
چیئرمین ایف بی آر، ممبر کسٹمز(آپریشنز) ڈائریکٹر جنرل انٹیلی جنس اینڈ انوسٹی گیشن کسٹمز اور پاکستان کسٹمز کے تمام افسران نے شہدا کے خاندانوں سے تعزیت کا اظہار کیا ہے اور اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے کہ وہ اس مشکل گھڑی میں ان کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں اور کھڑے رہیں گے۔
