Finance Minister Chairs a Meeting at FBR
Federal Finance Minister Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar visited the Federal Board of Revenue Headquarters today and chaired a meeting to review the suggestions submitted by the Anomaly Committee-Business and Anomaly Committee-Technical to remove discrepancies identified in the Finance Bill-2023.
It may be noted that Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad had constituted the two Committees on June 13, 2023 to identify and remove the business and technical related anomalies identified in the Finance Bill-2023 and present recommendations to FBR for removal of the same. The meeting was also attended by Special Assistant to the PM on Finance Mr. Tariq Bajwa, Chairman FBR and senior officials from the Revenue Division and Finance Ministry.
The Finance Minister reviewed the suggestions given by the both Committees and said that practicable recommendations will be incorporated in the Finance Bill-2023.
ایف بی آر میں وزیر خزانہ کی زیر صدارت اجلاس
وزیر خزانہ محمد اسحاق ڈار نے منگل کے روز ایف بی آر ہیڈ کوارٹرز اسلام آباد کا دورہ کیا اور اناملی کمیٹی بزنس اور اناملی کمیٹی ٹیکنیکل کی طرف سے فنانس بل 2023 میں نشاندہی کی جانے والی اناملیز کو دور کرنے کے لئے پیش کردہ تجاویز کاجائزہ لینے کے لئے اجلاس کی صدارت کی۔
چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد نے تیرہ جون 2023 کو یہ دو کمیٹیاں تشکیل دی تھیں تاکہ وہ فنانس بل 2023 میں بزنس اور ٹیکنیکل نوعیت کی اناملیز کی نشاندہی کریں اور انہیں دور کرنے کے لئے ایف بی آر کو سفارشات پیش کریں۔
اس اجلاس میں وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے خزانہ طارق باجوہ، چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد اور ریونیو ڈویژن اور وزارت خزانہ کے اعلیٰ حکام نے بھی شرکت کی۔
وزیر خزانہ نے دونوں کمیٹیوں کی طرف سے پیش کردہ تجاویز کا جائزہ لیا اور کہا کہ ان میں سے قابل عمل تجاویز کو فنانس بل 2023 میں شامل کیا جائے گا۔
