FBR Surpasses July-2023 Target: A Promising Start for Financial Year 2023-24
Amid all the economic challenges faced by the country, FBR has successfully surpassed the revenue target for the month of July-2023 and has even shown a robust 16.6% growth as compared to the corresponding month of last year. As against the set target of Rs. 534 Billion, net revenue of Rs. 538 Billion has been collected, despite issuance of refunds amounting to Rs. 49 Billion. Direct taxes continue to show a remarkable growth of 30% during the current month. Inland Revenue Taxes has shown a healthy growth of 18% as compared to last July and FBR team is optimistic with regards to sustaining this growth pattern for rest of the year.
FBR has exhibited a promising start for financial year 2023-24 regarding the revenue collection, by putting in an outstanding effort to achieve the monthly tax target despite all the economic headwinds faced by the country. The performance of FBR amidst the current financial and economic turmoil, portrays the unwavering dedication of the tax officials to achieve the assigned target for the current year.

ملک کو درپیش معاشی چیلنجز کے باوجود ایف بی آر نے کامیابی سے جولائی 2023 کے ہدف سے زائد محصولات جمع کر لیے جو کہ گذشتہ سال اسی مہینے میں جمع کئے جانے والے محصولات کے مقابلہ میں 16.6 فیصد زیادہ ہے۔ 49 ارب روپے کے ریفنڈز جاری کرنے کے باوجود جولائی 2023 میں 534 ارب روپے کے ہدف کے مقابلہ میں 538 ارب روپے کے خالص محصولات جمع کئے گئے ہیں۔ رواں ماہ کے دوران جمع کئے جانے والے براہ راست ٹیکسوں میں تیس فیصد کا قابل قدر اضافہ دیکھنے میں آیا ہے۔ گذشتہ سال جولائی کے مقابلہ میں اس مہینے کے دوران ان لینڈ ریونیو ٹیکسسز کی مد میں 18 فیصد کا اضافہ ہوا ہے اور ایف بی آر کی ٹیم کو اُمید ہے کہ اس گروتھ پیٹرن کو باقی سال بھر کے دوران برقرار رکھا جاۓ گا۔
ایف بی آر نے ملک کو درپیش اقتصادی دشواریوں کے باوجود اپنا ماہانہ ہدف حاصل کرکے بہترین کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کیا ہے اور مالی سال 2023-24 کا بہترین آغاز کیا ہے۔ موجودہ مالی اور اقتصادی بحرانوں کے باوجود ایف بی آر کی کارکردگی اس امر کا ناقابل تردید ثبوت ہے کہ ٹیکس حکام اس سال کے تفویض کردہ ہدف کو حاصل کرنے کے لئے پرعزم ہیں۔
