FBR holds Tax Awareness campaign in Centaurus Shopping Mall, Islamabad

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)’s Facilitation and Taxpayers Education Wing held a day long Tax Awareness Campaign in the Centaurus Shopping Mall, Islamabad. The Campaign aimed to inform and educate the taxpayers and general public about launching TaxAsaan App, complaints redressal mechanism through Helpline and Integrity and Performance Management Unit, introduction of Point of Sales System and certain other facilitative initiatives taken by FBR. A large gathering of people participated in the campaign activities and appreciated this effort of FBR.

Member FATE Bakhtiar Muhammad, Chief FATE Aisha Farooq, Commissioner RTO Islamabad and other officers of FATE Wing were present on the occasion. While talking with media, Member FATE said that the purpose of this campaign was to tell the people about the significance of tax payment. He said that such awareness campaigns would be held in all major cities of the country. He informed that FBR had launched TaxAsaan App for the taxpayers to file their Income Tax Returns with ease. He reiterated the resolve that FBR would take all possible steps to facilitate the taxpayers’.

People acknowledged the efforts of FBR regarding tax collection and restricting tax evasion throughout the country. Different activities had been devised in the Tax Awareness Campaign to keep the interests of the people intact. Children took part in painting competition. Giveaways were distributed to the people. RTO Islamabad officials also guided the taxpayers’ on filing Income Tax Returns.

فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریوینیو کے فیٹ ونگ نے اسلام آباد کے سینٹورس شاپنگ مال میں ٹیکس سے متعلق معلومات اور آگاہی کے لئے ایک روزہ آگاہی مہم کا انعقاد کیا ۔ مہم کا مقصد ٹیکس گزاروں اور جنر ل پبلک کو ایف بی آر کی طرف سے آسان ایپ کے اجراء ، ہیلپ لائن اور شکایات کے ازالہ کے لئے انٹیگریٹی اینڈ پرفارمینس مینجمنٹ یونٹ کی تشکیل ، عوام اور تاجروں کی سہولت کے لئے پوائینٹ آف سیل نظام کا متعارف کرانا اور دیگر سہولتی اقدامات کے بارے میں آگاہی دینا تھا۔اس موقع پر عوام کی بڑی تعداد نے ایف بی آر کی کاوش کو سراہا اور مہم کی سرگرمیوں میں دلچسپی کا اظہار کیا۔

آگاہی مہم میں ایف بی آر کے فیٹ ونگ کے ممبر بختیار محمد ، چیف فیٹ عائشہ فاروق، کمشنر آر ٹی او اسلام آباد اور فیٹ ونگ کے دیگر افسران نے شرکت کی۔ ممبر فیٹ بختیار محمد نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایف بی آر نے ٹیکس کی اہمیت اور ادائیگی سے متعلق عوام کا شعور بڑھانے کے لئے آگاہی مہم کا آغاز کیا ہے۔ اس طرح کی آگاہی مہم کا انعقاد ملک کے تمام بڑے شہروں میں کیا جائے گا۔ ممبر فیٹ نے مزید کہا کہ ایف بی آر کے متعارف کردہ ٹیکس آسان ایپ کے ذریعے ٹیکس گزار نہایت آسانی کے ساتھ سالانہ انکم ٹیکس گوشوارے جمع کرا سکتے ہیں۔ مزید کہا کہ ایف بی آر عوام کو ہر ممکن سہولیات فراہم کرنے کے لئے ہمہ وقت کوشاں ہیں۔

عوام کی بڑی تعداد نے ایف بی آر کے طرف سے ٹیکس ادائیگی کو یقینی بنانے کی کوششوں اور ٹیکس چوری کے سدباب کے لئے اٹھائے گئے اقدامات کی تعریف کی۔ آگاہی مہم میں لوگوں کی دلچسپی برقرار رکھنے کے لئے مختلف سرگرمیاں ترتیب دی گئی تھیں۔ بچوں نے پینٹنگ مقابلے میں شرکت کی ۔ اس موقع پر آر ٹی او اسلام آباد کے آفیشلز نے بھی ٹیکس گوشوارے بھرنے سے متعلق ٹیکس گزاروں کی راہ نمائی کی۔
