Extension of the date for payment of ST / FED and filing of ST / FED returns for the period October, 2013 for all registered persons

In view of 9^th and 10^th Muharram holidays falling on 14^th and 15^th November, 2013 and the weekend following immediately, the Federal Board of Revenue, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 74 of the Sales tax Act, 1990 and section 43 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005, is pleased to extend the date of payment of Sales tax & FED and of filing of Sales Tax / Federal Excise returns upto 20^th November, 2013, for the tax period October, 2013 for all registered persons.
