ایف بی آر کی پریس ریلیز

A batch of 33rd Senior Management Course, National School of Public Policy, NIM, Karachi, visited the Federal Board of Revenue Headquarters as part of their ongoing mandatory training. The 37 participants belonged to various Federal Occupational Groups, Provincial Civil Services, Economist Group & allied services. 

After offering Fateha at Yadgar-I-Shuhada, the participants were given a detailed briefing on Revenue Collection Strategy and Related Challenges being undertaken by FBR as well as about organisational structure, key policy and operational aspects of IRS and Customs. They were also briefed by Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad and Member Administration Mr. Nadeem Hussain Rizvi on various initiatives being undertaken for the documentation of economy, meeting assigned targets, digitization of taxpayers’ data and   anti-smuggling operations. 

Chairman FBR also apprised the participants about measures being taken to broaden the tax base as well as about outreach programs to bring potential small tax payyers across Pakistan under the tax net.  

Later on Chief Instructor NIM Karachi, Mr Abdul Khaliq thanked the Chairman FBR for the detailed presentation followed by a productive Question and Answer session. The Chairman wished the participants best of luck in their future endeavours. 

 

 

33 ویں ایس ایم سی کورس کے شرکاء کا ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹرز کا دورہ

نیشنل سکول آف پبلک پالیسی، این آئی ایم، کراچی کے 33 ویں سینئر منیجمنٹ کورس کے شرکاء نے منگل کے روز اپنی جاری لازمی تربیت کے حصہ کے طور پر فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو ہیڈکوارٹرزکا دورہ کیا۔کورس کے سینتیس شرکاء کا تعلق مختلف وفاقی پیشہ ورانہ گروپس، صوبائی سول سروسز، اکانومسٹ گروپ اور الائیڈ سروسز سے تھا۔

 

    یادگار شہداء پر فاتحہ خوانی کے بعد شرکاء کو ایف بی آر کی طرف سے ریونیو اکٹھا کرنے کی حکمت عملی اور متعلقہ چیلنجز کے ساتھ ساتھ ان لینڈ ریونیو اور کسٹمز کے تنظیمی ڈھانچے، اہم پالیسیوں اور آپریشنل پہلووں کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی۔ ایف بی آر کے چیئرمین عاصم احمد اور ممبر ایڈمنسٹریشن ندیم حسین رضوی نے شرکا کو معیشت کو دستاویزی صورت دینے، مقررکردہ ریونیو اہداف کو پورا کرنے، ٹیکس دہندگان کی معلومات کی ڈیجیٹائزیشن اور انسداد سمگلنگ کاروائیوں کے بارے میں بریفنگ بھی دی۔

 

چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے شرکاء کو ٹیکس کی بنیاد کو وسیع کرنے کے لئے اٹھائے جانے والے اقدامات کے بارے میں بتایا اور پاکستان بھر کے ممکنہ چھوٹے ٹیکس دہندگان کو ٹیکس نیٹ میں لانے کے لئے آوٹ ریچ پروگراموں کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا۔

 

بعد ازاں چیف انسٹرکٹر این آئی ایم کراچی عبدالخالق نے تفصیلی پریزنٹیشن دینے پرچیئرمین ایف بی آرکا شکریہ ادا کیا۔اس موقع پر چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے  شرکاء کے مستقبل کے لئے نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار بھی کیا۔
