SEMINAR to improve the tax compliance

A seminar to improve the tax compliance was held on 5th Sep, 2012 in the conference room of Regional Tax Office, Sukkur. All Officers and Senior Inspectors participated. Mr. Fayaz Hussain Abro, Deputy Commissioner, gave presentation on the new provisions introduced in Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Federal Excise Duty, vide Finance Act, 2012. The issues relevant to revenue generation were discussed at length. The effect of new changes on the revenue collection during the current financial year was analysed. The Chief Commissioner directed all the Officers to educate the Taxpayers and Withholding Agents regarding the current Legal Provisions in order to improve the tax compliance.
