The Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Sargodha, Mr. Saleem Raza Asif visited the office of Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sargodha on 12th February, 2016 and held a meeting with the office bearers of SCCI.

Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed Mirza, Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Shakir Naveed, Vice Chairman, Mr. Fazal-Ur-Rehman, Ex-Chairman, Mr. Gulzar A. Sheikh, Chairman Income Tax Committee, Sargodha Chamber of Commerce & Industry and all the other representatives of SCCI participated in the meeting. Mr. Saleem Raza Asif, Chief Commissioner, RTO Sargodha stressed upon the importance and benefits of Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS) for the traders, during his address.

Dr. Malik Muhammad Khan Awan, Commissioner Inland Revenue, Mr. Sajjad Azhar, Additional Commissioner Inland Revenue and Malik Shehryar Akram Awan, Deputy Commissioner Inland Revenue, RTO Sargodha also accompanied the Chief Commissioner. Mr. Sajjad Azhar, Additional CIR gave a presentation on Multi-Media and explained the salient features of the Scheme in detail. Copies of the brochures published by the FBR in Urdu, containing salient features of the Scheme, were handed over to the participants for their guidance. The representatives of print media and electronic media gave coverage of the event in the national as well as local newspapers and TV Channels.

During the question/answer session, questions/queries raised by the participants on different aspects of the Scheme were answered in detail. At the end, all the participants showed their satisfaction with the Scheme and promised to extend their complete cooperation to make the VTCS successful.
