PROBATIONERS OF 38TH STP (FIRST BATCH OF INLAND REVENUE SERVICE ) FROM DIRECTORATE OF TRAINING LAHORE VISITED FEDERAL BOARD OF REVENUE HEADQUARTERS
38 Probationers of 38th STP from Directorate of Training Lahore visited Federal Board of Revenue Headquarters on 13.12.2011. They were received by officers of Inland Revenue Wing. Sardar Aminullah Khan Member (Enforcement & Accounting) welcomed the officers and gave an overview of the FBR, its reform programme, and future prospects. A formal presentation on the structural organization and working of FBR was delivered by Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Khan, which was followed by question/answer session.
Mr. Salman Sidduque, Chairman, FBR in his address felicitated the officers of the first batch of Inland Revenue Service after the merger of Income Tax and Customs Groups. He urged them to adopt positive approach towards service delivery and work with motivation in maximizing revenue and improving tax to GDP ratio. It was through dedicated efforts of Federal Board of Revenue in general and the Inland Revenue Service, in particular that the country could shake off the shackles of dependence on foreign aid and loans. The visit concluded with exchange of shields from both sides.
