ORIENTATION SESSION REGARDING BUDGETARY AMENDMENTS BROUGHT IN THE SALES TAX ACT, 1990 HELD AT REGIONAL TAX OFFICE RAWALPINDI HEADED BY MR. SHAHID ANWAR KHAN, CHIEF COMMISSIONER, RTO, RWP., ON 5th & 6th JULY 2011

Mr. Shahid Anwar Khan, the Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi headed an Orientation Session regarding Budgetary Amendments brought in the Sales Tax Act,1990 at Regional Tax Office Building on 5th & 6th of July 2011. In this regard Mr. Muhammad Siddique, Commissioner Inland Revenue (Retired) was requested to brief the officers on recent amendments in Sales Tax Act. All the officers attended the session with utmost concentration and focus whereas Chief Commissioner supervised the whole training program with his personal presence seeking important features throughout the program duration. The training program proved to be a catalyst in enhancing the work capacity and capability of all the participants. The Chief Commissioner stressed upon the need of continuation of such sessions after the completion of fiscal year.
