One Day workshop on E-filing of statement U/S 165 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
A one day workshop was conducted in Regional Tax Office, Peshawar on 10.12.13 with regard to e-filing of statements by the Excise and Taxation Department. The training was conducted by Mr.Shaukat Hayat, DCIR (WHU-II) and Mr.Asif Ali Khan, Manager PRAL, RTO, Peshawar. From the Excise & Taxation Department the following officials attended the workshop.

2. During the training session, hands-on demonstration was given to the participants. The most phenomenal aspect of the training was that the e-enrolment process (issuance of PASS WORD, ID and PIN CODE), which otherwise takes very long, was completed during the training session. Mr.Asif Ali Khan (PRAL) explained step by step procedure of e-filing of statement, whereas the legal aspects were elaborated by Mr.Shaukat Hayat, DCIR (WHU-II). The meeting was also attended by the officials/officer of EHA (Hoffman Gmbh, Germany). The EHA officers were briefed about their role in the preparation of requisite data for the purpose of e-filing. All the participants actively and keenly participated the training session.
3. At the end of the meeting the DCIR (WHU-II) thanked the participants for attending the meeting and assured them of every possible co-operation in e-filing of statements. It was also agreed that Mr.Asif Ali Khan will help out the Excise & Taxation Department in e-filing of its first statement.
