Finance Minister visits FBR to meet up with core team involved in budget 2017 exercise.

Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatisation Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar visited the FBR House to meet with the core team that took part in the federal budget-2017 exercise.

Flanked by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Senator Haroon Akhtar Khan and Chairman FBR Dr. Muhammad Irshad, the Minister lauded what he called a good work put in by the FBR management and officers in the various processes and exercises that led to a successful presentation of the federal budget in the National Assembly on 26th May 2017. He said the FBR team had to step up their efforts even more in coming days to meet the revenue collection target set for the next financial year. He also urged the FBR field formations to work more diligently to meetup the targets for the ongoing year.
