Tax awareness educational session held in Women College of Rawalpindi

In continuation of holding Tax Awareness Educational Sessions in different educational institutes under Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions Cantt. Garrison, Ministry of Defense, Federal Board of Revenue held a session in F.G Post Graduate College for Women, Kashmir Road, Rawalpindi.

Different activities for the students were arranged in the Tax Awareness Educational Session which greatly helped the students to understand the tax structure and importance of tax payment responsibility. The officers of FATE Wing made the students to understand tax system in a very easy to understand manner. Secretary FATE, Sonia Anwar Rana in her presentation informed about the structure of FBR, types of taxes and benefits of tax returns filing. The students were informed about Tax Asaan App as well. A quiz competition was also arranged to gauge the understanding of the students on the subject after the session. To raise the awareness level, painting picture competition was also arranged amongst the students.

Chief, Facilitation and Taxpayers’ Education (FATE) of FBR Tehmina Aamer in her speech highlighted the significance of tax payment and the role of young generation for promotion of tax culture. The students and staff of both colleges asked questions on tax system during the session which were comprehensively answered by Chief FATE.

Rashid Rana, Adnan Akram Bajwa and Alam Zaib Khan, officers of FATE Wing distributed prizes among the winning students of quiz and painting picture competition. Students showed great enthusiasm in all the activities. The Principal of the college Professor Durr-e-Shahwar Tariq thanked FBR Team for sensitizing students on such national importance subject. Chief FATE presented shields to the Principal of the college.

راولپنڈی کے کالج  میں ٹیکس سے متعلق تربیتی سیشن کا انعقادفیڈرل بورڈ آف ریوینیو نے تعلیمی اداروں میں ٹیکس آگاہی تربیتی سیشنز کو جاری رکھتے ہوئے ڈائیریکٹوریٹ آ ف فیڈرل گورنمنٹ ایجوکیشنل انسٹیٹیوشننز کینٹ گیریثرن، وزارت دفاع کے زیر اہتمام ایف جی پوسٹ گر یجویٹ کالج برائے خواتین   کشمیر روڈراولپنڈی  میں تربیتی سیشن کا انعقاد کیا۔

تربیتی سیشن میں طالبات کے لئے مختلف سرگرمیوں کا اہتمام کیا گیا تھا جس کے ذریعے ان  کو ٹیکس سٹرکچر اور ٹیکس اداکرنے کی اہم ذمہ داری کو سمجھنے میں مدد ملی۔ فیٹ ونگ ایف بی آر کے افسران نے نہایت سہل انداز میں ٹیکس نظام کی وضاحت کی۔سیکریٹری فیٹ سونیا انور رانا نےپریزینٹیشن میں ایف بی آر  کے سٹر کچر ،     ٹیکسز کی اقسام اور ریٹرن فائلنگ کی افادیت پر   روشنی ڈالی۔ طالبات کو ٹیکس آسان ایپ  کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا گیا۔ ٹیکس پر آگاہی حاصل کرنے کے بعد طالبات کے درمیا ن کوئز مقابلہ کا اہتمام کیا گیا جس میں ٹیکس سے متعلقہ سوالات پوچھے گئے۔ طالبات کے درمیان ٹیکس سے متعلق  آگاہی دینے کے لئے پوسٹر مقابلہ کا بھی انعقاد کیا گیا۔

 چیف فیٹ تہمینہ عامر نے اپنے خطاب میں طالبات کو ٹیکس دینے کی اہمیت اور ٹیکس کلچر کو فروغ دینے کے لئے  نوجوانوں کے کردار پر روشنی ڈالی۔  طالبات اور اساتذہ نے تربیتی سیشن میں مختلف سوالات کئے جس کےچیف فیٹ تہمینہ عامرنے تسل بخش جوابات دیئے۔

کوئزاورپوسٹر مقابلہ جیتنے والی طالبات میں  فیٹ ونگ کے افسران  راشد رانا، عدنان اکرم باجوہ اورعالم زیب خان نے انعامات تقسیم کئے ۔ تربیتی سیشن کی تمام سرگرمیوں میں طالبات نے گہری دلچسپی کا مظاہر ہ کیا۔ پرنسپل کالج پروفیسردر شہوار طارق نے ایف بی آر کی ٹیم کا طالبات  کو اہم قومی اہمیت کے موضوع پر آگاہی دینے پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔ تقریب کے آخر میں چیف فیٹ نے پرنسپل کو یادگاری شیلڈ پیش کی۔
