German Ambassador called on SA to PM on Revenue

German Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Bernhard Schlagheck called on Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Dr. Waqar Masood Khan on Friday at FBR Headquarters.

German Ambassador lauded the revenue collection performance of FBR in the first seven months of current Fiscal Year. SA to PM on Revenue briefed the Ambassador about the reform process achieved in FBR so far. He expressed the resolve of FBR to achieve the revenue target set for the current year if the economic activities continued with the same pace. German Ambassador was particularly impressed with the automation drive being introduced in tax system to facilitate the taxpayers and increase revenue. The meeting lasted for an hour. In the end SA to PM on Revenue presented shield to the German Ambassador.

جرمن سفیر کی معاون خصوصی برائے ریوینو سے ملاقات

پاکستان میں تعینات جرمن سفیر H.E. Bernhard Schlagheck نے وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے ریونیو ڈاکٹر وقار مسعود خان سے ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹر میں ملاقات کی۔

جرمن سفیر نے ایف بی آر کی رواں سال پہلے سات ماہ میں محاصل کے حصول میں حاصل کردہ کامیابی کی تعریف کی۔ معاون خصوصی برائے ریونیو نے ایف بی آر میں جاری اصلاحاتی عمل کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے ملاقات میں ایف بی آر کی طرف سے عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ اگر معاشی سرگرمیوں میں بہتری جاری رہی تو ایف بی آر رواں سال کا ریونیو ہدف حاصل کرنے میں کامیاب ہو جائے گا۔ جرمن سفیر نے ایف بی آر میں ٹیکس نظام کو خودکار بنانے کے پروگرام کی تعریف کی۔ ایک گھنٹہ جاری رہنے والی ملاقات کے آخر میں معاون خصوصی برائے ریوینیو نے جرمن سفیر کو یادگاری شیلڈ پیش کی۔
