Delegation of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s meeting with Chairman FBR

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar along with delegation of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry met with Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Asim Ahmad here on Wednesday at FBR Headquarters. The delegation put forth proposals to Chairman FBR for consideration in the forthcoming budget 2021-22.

The delegation apprised the Chairman about the issues being faced by the business community of Sialkot. The matters relating to the sales tax and income tax (withholding tax) on electricity bills in Sialkot Export Processing Zone (SEPZ) was discussed in the meeting. Further, the delegation also proposed to further simplify the procedure through WEBOC system. The delegation discussed proposals for Export Processing Zone, Sialkot and requested consideration in the coming budget.

Chairman FBR was assisted by Member Customs Operations, FBR and officers of IR Policy Wing. The Chairman FBR assured redressal of issues raised by the representatives of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and consideration of proposals in the coming budget.

وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے امور نوجوانان عثمان ڈار اور سیالکوٹ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے وفد نے چئیرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد سے ملاقات کی۔ وفد نے آئندہ بجٹ میں شامل کرنے کے لئے تجاویز پیش کیں۔

وفد نے چئیرمین ایف بی آر کو سیالکوٹ کی کاروباری کمیونٹی کو درپیش مسائل کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔ وفد نے سیالکوٹ کے ایکسپورٹ پراسیسنگ زون میں بجلی کے بلوں پر سیلز ٹیکس، انکم ٹیکس  و ودہولڈنگ ٹیکس سے متعلق مسائل کے بارے میں بتایا۔ وفد نے وی بوک سسٹم کو مزید آسان بنانے کی لئے تجاویز پیش کیں۔ ایکسپورٹ پراسیسنگ زون سیالکوٹ سےمتعلق تجاویز پیش کیں۔

چئیرمین ایف بی آر کے ساتھ ممبر کسٹمز آپریشنز اور آئی آر پالیسی ونگ کے افسران بھی ملاقات میں موجود تھے۔ چئیرمین ایف بی آر نے سیالکوٹ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے نمائیندگان کو ان کے مسائل کےحل کی یقین دہانی کرائی اور تجاویز کو آئیندہ بجٹ میں شامل کرنے کے لئے سنجیدگی سے غور کرنے کا یقین دلایا۔
