Letter of Understanding inked between FBR and Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments/Garrisons)

In line with the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan for promoting Taxation system in the country, a special signing ceremony of Letter of Understanding (LoU) between Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institution Cantonments Garrisons and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) was held on Wednesday at Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institution Cantonments Garrisons. The Ceremony was observed by Member FATE and Spokesperson FBR Syed Nadeem Hussain Rizvi, Director General Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institution Cantonments Garrisons Major General Muhammad Asghar HI (M), Chief FATE Aisha Farooq and Director Administration Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institution Cantonments Garrisons Brigadier Khalid Mahmood Shafi. The Letter of Understanding was signed by Director Administration Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institution Cantonments Garrisons Brigadier Khalid Mahmood Shafi and Chief FATE of FBR Aisha Farooq.

LoU is aimed to promote tax culture & tax awareness in all educational institutions under Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institution Cantonments Garrisons. It shall serve to foster positive taxation culture and awareness among students and teachers through different sets of activities, skills and experiential learning for making them responsible citizens. The training sessions will inculcate among the students about the significance of paying taxes and how to indicate tax evasion. Federal Board of Revenue will educate and train students and teachers through taxation syllabus, training sessions and seminars. This LoU will be applicable for three years.

FBR has decided to launch countrywide awareness sessions through seminars and training sessions to promote tax culture which will help to increase the number of taxpayers and revenue for the country.

بے نامی ایجوڈیکیٹنگ اتھارٹی کی جانب سے بے نامی ٹرانزیکشنز سے متعلقہ 27 ریفرنسز

بے نامی ایجوڈیکیٹنگ اتھارٹی نے اسلام آباد، کراچی اور لاہور کے تین انٹی بے نامی زونز کی جانب سے بے نامی ٹرانزیکشنز کے خلاف 27 ریفرنسز کی تصدیق  کر دی ہے جو 7.4 ارب روپے مالیت کی منقولہ و غیرمنقولہ بے نامی جائیدادوں سے متعلق ہیں۔

ان میں سے بے نامی حصص کے 5 مقدمات میں 159.644 ملین کے بے نامی لین دین کی نشاندہی کی گئی ہے جبکہ 6 ریفرنس 5,849.4 ملین روپے کی بے نامی غیرمنقولہ جائیداد سے متعلق ہیں، بے نامی بینک اکاؤنٹس کے ایک مقدمے میں 1040.0 ملین روپے  کا لین دین ہوا اور 351.55 ملین روپے کی بے نامی گاڑیوں کے 16 مقدمات بھی دائر کر دئیے گئے ہیں۔

قانون کی رو سے انٹی بے نامی زون مشتبہ بے نامی اثاثوں کے مقدمات میں ریفرنس تصدیق یا اثاثوں کے قبضے کی منسوخی کے لئے بے نامی ٹرانزیکشنز ایجوڈیکیٹنگ اتھارٹی کو جمع کراتے ہیں اور پھر ضبطی کی کارروائی شروع کرتے ہیں۔

ایجوڈیکیٹنگ اتھارٹی، قانون کے تحت قائم کی گئی آزاد اتھارٹی ہے جو ضروری کارروائی کے بعد مبینہ بے نامی داروں اور بینیفشل مالکان کے ساتھ ساتھ ریفرنس دائر کرنے والے محکمے کو بھی شنوائی کا موقع دیتی ہے۔ ایجوڈیکیٹنگ اتھارٹی تمام قانونی اور انتظامی تقاضے اور ضابطے کی کارروائیاں مکمل کرتی ہے، جس میں کارروائی شروع کرنے والے افسران کی طرف سے قبضہ میں لینے کے احکامات کی تصدیق یا پھر منسوخی کر دی جاتی ہے۔ اسلام آباد، کراچی اور لاہور کے بے نامی زونز کی جانب سے ایجوڈیکیٹنگ اتھارٹی کے روبرو 27 ریفرنس دائر کئے گئے جن کی تصدیق کر دی گئی ہے اور وفاقی حکومت کے قانون کے مطابق فیڈرل اپیلٹ ٹریبونل کی جانب سے تصدیق کے احکامات پر 7.4 ارب روپے مالیت کے بے نامی اثاثے ضبط کر لئے جائیں گے۔
