FBR launches e-filing of Appeals

Federal Board of Revenue has launched Electronic Filing of Appeals with effect from 1^st January, 2021. Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) is the first tier of appellate hierarchy provided in the Inland Revenue laws. Taxpayers aggrieved with the orders of Inland Revenue tax authorities file first appeal before the Commissioner (Appeals). Providing facility of filing of appeals electronically by the taxpayer is another step toward automaton of FBR.

In compliance with the vision of the Prime Minister, FBR has collaborated with Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited for development of software for e-filing of appeals. In the process the input of major stakeholders such as ICAP, ICAMP and PTBA was also taken. The system will enable the taxpayers aggrieved by the orders of tax authorities to e-file appeals on the Iris Web Portal. Both the revenue and the taxpayers will reap the benefits of the automated system for e-filing of appeals. 

ایف بی آر نے اپیلوں کی ای فائلنگ کا آغازکر دیا

فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو نے یکم جنوری 2021 سے اپیلوں کی الیکٹرانک فائلنگ کا آغاز کر دیا ہے۔ اِن لینڈ ریونیو قوانین کے تحت پہلی اپیل کمشنر اِن لینڈ ریونیو (اپیلز) کو دائر کی جاتی ہے لہٰذا اِن لینڈ ریونیو ٹیکس حکام کے احکامات  سے متاثرہ ٹیکس دہندگان اب کمشنر (اپیلز) کو یہ پہلی اپیل آن لائن بھی دائر کر سکیں گے۔ ایف بی آر اپنے تمام تر سسٹمز کی آٹومیشن اور ٹیکس دہندگان کی بھرپور سہولت یقینی بنانے کے لئے سرگرم عمل ہے اور  الیکٹرانک طریقے سے اپیلیں دائر کرنے کی سہولت اسی سمت میں ایک اہم قدم ہے۔

وزیر اعظم کے ویثرن کے مطابق  فیدڑل بورڈ آف ریونیو ریونیو  نےپاکستان ریونیو آٹومیشن لمیٹڈ کے ساتھ مل کر اپیلوں کی ای فائلنگ کے لئے سافٹ ویئر تیار کیا۔ اس سلسلے میں آئی سی اے پی، آئی سی ایم اے پی اور پی ٹی بی اے سمیت مختلف متعلقہ فریقوں کی آراء بھی لی گئیں۔ سسٹم کی بدولت اب ٹیکس حکام کے احکامات سے متاثرہ ٹیکس دہندگان آئرس ویب پورٹل پر اپنی اپیلیں درج کرا سکیں گے۔ اپیلوں کی ای فائلنگ کے لئے آٹومیٹڈ سسٹم کی بدولت ریونیو اور ٹیکس دہندگان دونوں کو فائدہ ہو گا۔
