Country Director World Bank Pakistan Called on Chairman FBR

The Country Director World Bank Pakistan Mr. Patchamuthu Illangovan (Illango) called on Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Syed Muhammad Shabbar Zaidi at FBR Headquarters. The World Bank Country Director appreciated the steps taken by FBR to facilitate the tax payers particularly the steps to redress the grievances of taxpayers. The World Bank Country Director welcomed the appointment of Syed Shabbar Zaidi as Chairman FBR and hoped that under his command the FBR would be able to devise a strategy to achieve its targets in the long run. The World Bank is already assisting FBR to bring business friendly steps and reforms in the taxation system.

 Mr. Patchamuthu Illangovan (Illango)  پاکستان کنٹری ڈائریکٹر ورلڈ  بینک نے چیئرمین ایف بی آر سید محمد شبر زیدی سے ایف بی آر ھیڈ کوارٹر میں ملاقات کی۔ ورلڈ بینک کنٹری ڈائریکٹر پاکستان نے ایف بی آر کی طرف سے ٹیکس گزاروں کی سہولت اور خاص طور پران کی شکایات دور کرنے پر لئے گئے اقدامات کو سراہا۔ کنٹری ڈائریکٹر ورلڈ بینک پاکستان نے شبر زیدی کی بطور چئر مین ایف بی آر تعیناتی کو خوش آئند کہا اور امید ظاہر کی کہ ان کی کمان میں ایف بی آر اپنے تمام اہداف کو بخوبی پورا کر لے گا۔

ورلڈ بینک پہلے سے ہی ایف بی آر کو ٹیکس اصلاحات اور کاروباری دوستانہ اقدامات کو اپنانے میں تعاون جاری رکھے ہوئے ہے۔
