WORKSHOP ON FINANCE ACT 2013 HELD AT THE OFFICE OF SUKKUR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRIES, SUKKUR
The Officers of Regional Tax Office, Sukkur conducted a workshop at the office of Sukkur Chambers of Commerce & Industries to discuss and educate the members of the Chambers/Trade bodies about the charges in Income Tax, Sales Tax and Federal Excise Duty brought through Finance Act, 2013 on 28/08/2013. Mr. Abdul Rehman Bullo, Commissioner Inland Revenue, Zone-I, Regional Tax Office, Sukkur gave brief picture of the new provisions and Mr. Muhammad Akbar Mahar, Additional Commissioner Inland Revenue, gave detailed presentation on Finance Act, 2013.
A large number of participants attended the workshop. The Officers of Regional Tax Office, Sukkur gave replies of various questions and queries raised by the participants and discussed with the participants about implementation of charges brought in the Finance Act, 2013.
Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Arain, President Sukkur Chamber & Commerce & Industries and all other participants appreciated the initiative taken by the Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Sukkur to educate the representatives of trade association about new budgetary measures and ensured their commitment to cooperate in implementation of new provisions in the larger interest of national revenue.
