RTO Sialkot holds seminar for traders on VTCS

For creating awareness and understanding of Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS) among the traders and business community, a seminar was organised in the conference hall of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sialkot. Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue RTO, Sialkot Syed Imran Raza Kazmi along with the Commissioner Inland Revenue, Zone-I, RTO, Sialkot Mr. Ahmad Shuja Khan and the Additional Commissioner Inland Revenue, BTB, RTO, Sialkot Mr. Tahseen Sadiq Tarar attended the seminar. All the representatives of different types of traders, Members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry and press/media participated in the Seminar. During the meeting salient features of VTCS, its benefits for the trader community and ease of filing one page VTCS return were highlighted which were extremely appreciated by the participants. It was elaborated that the VTCS is highly beneficial for the trade activities individually and for overall prosperity of the country as well. The queries of the participants on different dimensions were properly satisfied by legal and factual answers. At the end, all the trade representatives and members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sialkot showed their full satisfaction with the scheme and promised to extend their complete cooperation to make the VTCS successful.
