The Foundation Laying Ceremony of RTO Complex Sargodha was held on June 17, 2015. Mr. Shahid Hussain Jatoi, Member (Administration) was Chief Guest. The Ceremony was attended by the officers of RTO, Commissioner and District Coordination Officer of Civil Division Sargodha, Chairman and office bearers of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Members of Trade Bodies, Members of Tax Bar Association and other notables.

Mr. Shahid Zaman, Chief Commissioner RTO Sargodha, highlighted the history of RTO Sargodha and underscored the need for a customized office building besides transit and residential accommodation for the officers and staff of RTO. Mr. Fazalur Rehman, President Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industries, appreciated the need of a modern office building .

Mr. Shahid Hussain Jatoi, in his speech detailed the upcoming projects of FBR and informed the audience that PC-II on hiring consultant for feasibility of RTO Complex Sargodha is approved and funded in PSDP 2015-16.

Mr. Shahid Jatoi expressed appreciation for Mr. Tariq Bajwa, Chairman FBR, for the development of FBR’s infrastructure at many stations , role in acquisition of the 10.5 acres land for RTO Sargodha. Mr. Jatoi also thanked the local civil administration and officers of the RTO for their acquisition of the land.
